Years ago I wore various different types of shoe brands looking for a pair that felt great and wouldn't fall apart before I thought they should. I tried on a pair of Merrell's at a local store and bought them and I have never looked back. They feel great on my feet well after break-in and they last a long time if you take care of your stuff. My everyday shoe is a Merrell and as long as Merrell keeps the quality of their shoes at this same level I'm a customer for life. I've only had them come apart after years of daily use. I always have a spare pair on hand in case! I wear a size 9D and other shoes can be too narrow for me. Merrell's always fit great and are comfortable over a long period of time. I've owned many pair and when I need a new pair I'll buy them again. I've owned various versions of them from waterproof to vented and high top to ankle high. All feel great on my feet.
