The Florsheim Lexington has been my weekly dress shoe for well over 10 years. I love the traditional styling and especially the comfort. They are a well constructed shoe and I appreciate the leather sole with the non-slip section. Of all the different dress shoes I've owned, the Lexington breaks in the easiest by far. They are reasonably priced, especially through Dodd's.
I would like to Thank "Dodds Shoe Co." for their prompt and courteous service. I was very happy to not only receive them promptly but for the selection they offer. It seems one of the few stores that offer gentleman's dress shoes that are for dress and business, that does not cater to modern styles but traditional as well.
Thank You
Getting hard to find wingtip kiltie tassels. My last pair of this shoe from Florsheim lasted me 8 years of 1-2 a week wear with lots of steps. Dodd was great too - will definitely buy through them again.

I have never had such a hard time trying to purchase the correct size shoe. I have purchased these Florsheim Lexington Kiltie's many times in the past, size 11-D. I've had to re order 4 times just to try and get a shoe that would fit. So I settled on the 10-D. It's too small, but I will stretch them to fit. All of the other 11-D's have fit perfectly before. I love this style shoe an don't want to change. Now I may have to.
In 1892, Milton Florsheim began producing shoes in a small factory located in Chicago, Illinois. The first pairs of Florsheim shoes made by Milton and his father, Sigmund, were a remarkable combination of style, comfort and high quality workmanship.
But shoes were not the only things Milton was building. He realized from the very beginning that a high quality product was only one of the factors necessary for success. A strong distribution network would be essential in making certain his exceptional footwear found its customers – entrepreneurs and self-starters in big cities and small towns across a fast growing nation.
As a new class of working men and professionals emerged, Florsheim shoes came to symbolize success. They also signaled a deep respect for yourself as well as for those with whom you did business. The tradition continues to this day. Though the specific shoes may change from season to season and year to year, all Florsheim shoes are designed for The Man Who Cares.
