The Origins of OluKai

OluKai (pronounced oh-loo-k-eye), got its start on the shores of Hawaii, hence its name. Born and raised in Hawaii, Bill Worthington founded OluKai in 2005 after working many years in the shoe industry. From the footbeds of each shoe, constructed to feel as though you are walking on wet sand, to each uniquely determined shoe name, Bill decided to weave the spirit of Hawaii into his dedication of footwear.

Where are OluKai Shoes Made?

All of OluKais sandals are designed and developed in the United States. Once the designs are complete, they are then manufactured across seas in Vietnam and China.
